Since I am young, being the person in charge of making my sister baby shower cake; it had always become my interest.

Having friends and family to ask about my opinion in all types of designs is an everyday thing.

A commitment to a full-time four year, or even a part-time eight year degree program does not suit my personal or professional needs for several reasons.

First, because I know exactly how I want to apply my new skills, I do not need any extraneous courses.

I have to send in the motivational letter in a couple of days but I'm not confident in it.

I would really appreciate if you could read it and give your honest opinion about it, maybe even some tips. ---------------------- Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter to apply for admission into the XXXX programme at the Culinary Arts Institute of XXXX.Ive got introduced to the aesthetics of cooking by my grandmother.She was always proud of her creations especially in confectionery, making me curious about this craft.That made me interested in all kinds of arts: singing, acting, dancing.Ive learned lots of valuable experiences, qualities especially the ones that included teamwork.Second, I do not want to alter my lifestyle by engaging in a four-year program.As an older student, I am not interested in leaving the workforce to pursue a traditional college education.I also really appreciate the opportunity of becoming an exchange student that your university provides, Im very interested in other countries cuisines, cooking traditions, eating etiquette and so much more.Finally, I think your given chance would be a big step forwards towards my dream.This program offers practical education and training that I can immediately apply to the workplace, preferably as a sous-chef in a fine dining restaurant.I am confident I have the energy, stamina, and dedication to be a positive addition to the Art Institute.
