Early one morning when it was still dark, I woke up suddenly. The funny thing was that I had the blanket on but I still felt cold. Anyhow I got up and immediately felt the cold air around me. It was extraordinary that it should be this cold in the tropics.

The rest of the body was comfortably warm under the blanket, but the head, especially the nose, felt like ice.

When things get “out of balance” in the atmosphere, storms develop, bringing rain or snow and sometimes thunder and lightning too.

The weather you experience is influenced by many factors, including your location’s latitude, elevation, and proximity to water bodies.

Causes of weather changes that occur as hair from high-pressure zones flows toward low pressure areas, fronts pass and waves develop, dew points are reached, and sea breezes arise.

Parts of the world experience these changes more rapidly and more often than do other parts. The boundary between two air masses is called a weather front. Here, wind, temperature, and humidity change abruptly, producing atmospheric instability.Even the degree of urban development, which creates “heat islands,” and the amount of snow cover, which chills an overlying air mass, play important roles. The next time you watch a weather report on television, think about the many factors that influence our weather, some thousands of miles away, that help make the weather what it is.This essay aims to help understand such divergent predictions by clarifying the concepts of weather and climate.First, the widely-read panel fixed effects models capture only the impacts of weather fluctuations but not of climate normals.Weather refers to day-to-day temperature and precipitation activity, whereas climate is the term for the statistics of atmospheric conditions over longer periods of time.Precipitation is any form of water particles as in rain, sleet, snow or hail, that fall from the atmosphere to the earth’s surface. Only at about 12 noon did the mist clear and the sun shone through. It was a freak weather but it was enjoyable while it lasted. It was strange having lessons in the unusual conditions.
